ReplyDeleteI think that the worst place for bullying can be any where. Even in the classroom, because even though there is a teacher in the room, there still can be bulling going on. Bullying could be going on in the classroom, the lunchroom, at recess, and on the bus too. Bullying is a thing that can go on anywhere. It is awful.

I think there is a lot of bullying and respect isses in Lane. I have been bullyied and it is a terrible feeling and I hope when people read this book that they will realise how bad bullying is. It is something at Lane that needs to stop.

No I have never felt like any charectors in the book, and I don't think I was ever a bully. I didn't reallyfell differnt after reading "My Secret Bully." I know of one bullying situation that is happening on bus 2 that is happeningto a boy who has to sit in the front(but it was worse when he sat in the back). I think the bus is easyest place to bully someone because there are no teachers and there is only 1 adult and 20 billion children.

ReplyDeleteI have been teased, but not by my friends. I think it hurts more when it's your friends, becuase it's sort of like betrayal, and betrayal really hurts. I think that what the girl did was a really good thing. She let everyone know that she knew, and didn't like, all the teasing and that she really wanted to have all her friends to like her again.
ReplyDeleteMy secret bully is my favorite book so far. What Monicka said was a brave thing to say. I feel the same way when my friends are talking in a group and pointing at me, it makes me feel so mad I hate it when they do that.

i have not been a bully. but at my old school there was this one girl and she was really mean. But one of my friends got bullied and i stood up for them. But then the bully turned back on me but i just ignored it until it got to much so i went to an adult.

I think there is bullying around Job. Lane elementary School.... The teachers just don't see it... some of the worst bullying places around Job. Lane elementary school are the bus, at lunch & recess, and the bathroom (boys mostly). Bullies can be sneaky. Bullying should stop at Lane School.
ReplyDeleteI felt alot like the characters in this book, and I've been bullied once in First grade, once in fourth grade, and now i'm actually going into fifth grade and i'm being bullied ad camps. I really think that there ia a big bullying issue at Lane, because anybody can bully you, and for any reason; and some people might even be bullied and not realize it until they read this book, which is exactly what happened to me. I think that people can be bullied at any time in any place. During class, in the hallways, at recess, it could even happen in the bathrooms! I hope Lane takes a lot of action on the bullying problems right away!

i remember, back around first grade, there was a kid who was nice to me, but then she just started to be mean to me and nice to lots of my friends. After i read this, i felt sorry for the main charecter, and i knew how she felt.(gsk)

Sometimes she made me upset, and I had to sit at the lunch table alone because she was sitting with my friends. It really hurt. I think the lunchroom is where people get bullied the most. -DP

I have been bullied a lot. It will take place anywhere even if the teacher is eyeballing u. One time a teacher was talking to this dude and he kept saying "shut up shut up shut up" in a dull voice because he didn't care. I think punishment, talking to them or parents/legal guardian will ABSOLUTELY NOT HELP!!!!! Truthfully, for many reasons, I wish i didn't have many classmates in school with me. I would do whatever it take to get away from them!!!!!

Bullying is really bad. I have got bullied once, but it stoped really fast. In this book, My Secret Bully, it teaches you not to boss other people around. My favorite part was when Monica told her mom that Katie was bullying her, and then she said,"Katie, does it make you feel good to make me feel bad? Because friends don't do that to friends." CGU
