Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver

A 12 year old boy named Torak grants his Pa's dying wish "Reach the mountain of world spirits". Going through many dangers, Torak finds the mountain with the help of Wolf and Renn. My favorite part was when Torak finds an orphaned wolf cub and wants to eat him. He realizes that this wolf could be the guide his pa spoke of, and he doesn't eat the cub after all. The cub is a big help on the journey. I think kids 8-15 would enjoy this book I think boys would enjoy this book. RATING: ***** Popeye

    I LOVED this book...it has a sequel "Spirit Walker", which is equally good. Girls may enjoy this as well. Can't wait for the next in the series "Chronicles of Ancient Darkness"
