Daughter of the Nile by Kristiana Gregory

Cleopatra is growing up and is going to Rome while trying to help her father regain his throne and help make Egypt a better place. She dreams of becoming a great queen. My favorite part was when Cleopatra helps form a treaty with the Romans and helps her father not look like a complete idiot.
