The Journal of Douglas Allen Deeds by W. R. Philbrick

The book is about a kid who goes on an expedition looking for a better life even though his parents are dead. My favorite part was when people die of starvation and he eats them! I think boys who are age 9-11 will enjoy reading this book RATING: *** Bob
