The Tail of Emily Windsnap by Liz Kessler
This book is about a girl named Emily Windsnap, She finds out she’s a mermaid in her first swim class in sixth grade. She sneaks out at night to see her mermaid friend named Shona.
My favorite part of the book was when she saw her dad for the first time in prison then she got away fast to go see Shona and her mom.
I think girls who are 9-11 years old will enjoy this book

I loved these books, they were so cute! I read the first 2, and want to read the third to find out how the mermaid family turns out (we have it in our Library...hint hint!)
