ANOTHER FINE MYTH by Robert Asprin

The book is about a 10 year old boy named Skeeve who start out as the apprentice of master magician Garkin. But it all goes wrong when a assassin kills Garkin and the demon, Aahz he just summoned and was apprenticed by him . My favorite part was when instead of being evil, he is actually quite friendly.
