Ella bio poem pranav 209

Ella was born in the crowded streets of Newport News, VA

Ella was a child of William and Temple Fitzjerald but William separated from her

Ella lived in the busy streets of Yonkers, New York

Ella studied dancing/singing and sang in glee club

Ella overcame the unfairness of segregation that made sure she didn't sing in certain nightclubs

Ella worked as a person who ran errands for illegal gambling joints

Ella was challenged by the reform school that was stopping her from her career

Ella was always a good, strong singer

Never a weak, bad singer

Ella was best known for her amazing scat/bebop singing

Ella was a singer whose music made me feel active and lively
