DR. SEUSS

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Theodor S. Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) would have been 105 years old today! Dr. Seuss wrote over 60 books for children, and is celebrated today by schools and Libraries in READ ACROSS AMERICA. Read Across America is dedicated to motivating children to read.
Massachusetts has an important connection to Dr. Seuss, as he grew up in Springfield, MA. Read more about him on the wikipedia page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr_Seuss, where I obtained the info for this blog entry & the photo. Scroll down the page for a complete list of his books.
