In this story, a young orphan-Margaret Ann Brady embarks on a journey across the ocean to New York.Although she is working on this trip Margaret can still explore and have some alone time. She also gets time to bond with her new "friend"/ crew member named Robert. One day when the air was cold, Robert came in with bad news. "Miss Brady-"Wait... Margaret thought. He calls me Margaret. "Please proceed to the boat deck, immediately." This must be serious.
Margaret was in conflict with nature.
The conflict for Margaret was an iceburg because it sunk the ship and it took Roberts life.

VOYAGE ON THE GREAT TITANIC by Ellen White
This book is the story of Margaret Ann Brady. Margaret lived in London until Mrs. Carstairs asked her to be her companion on the Titanic. She loves everything about the Titanic. The food, the rooms, and Robert a 3rd class boy on the ship. Until CRASH!!!!! The ship struck an iceberg. Margaret rushes to Robert. The ship goes lower......... lower...........and lower........ what will happen next?
The scariest part was when the ship was very close to the waters edge with Margaret still on it.
I would recommend this book to girls who are ages 9-12

Voyage on the Great Titanic by Ellen Emerson White
It’s about a girl Named Margaret who goes on a ship called the Titanic. Then it sinks and a lot of people die, except Margaret and 700 other people out of 2,000.
The sad part of the book is when the Titanic sinks and they lose their families, even animals and babies died, which I thought was very sad.
I think girls who are age 12 will enjoy reading this book.
