Carl is a boy who is walking and finds a girl named Ellie. They get married and have a happy life. That is, until Ellie dies and never gets her wish of going to South America. Carl keeps on to that dream and goes to it. Muntz, a great explorer, wants a bird he has named Kevin.
Carl was in conflict with Muntz.
Muntz was using harmful weapons to get Kevin.
He changed from being grumpy and unacceptable. When he got angry at workers and almost landed because of Russell. To being helpful and cheery. Like when he let Russell get what he wanted.

Night at the Museum by Leslie Goldman
This book is about Larry Daily and his new job as the night watchman at the Museum of Natural History
My favorite part was when the old night watchmen tried to steal the magical tablet.
I think both boys and girls ages 9-14 will read this book.
