FOOTBALL NIGHTMARE by Matt Christopher

The Bucs are in the championships and the game is tied 14-14. Keith, their wide receiver goes deep and Billy, their quarterback fires a pass to Keith. Keith almost catches it but misses. After a few days he decides to quit but his sister Traci convinces him to keep on playing. Next season Keith does really well but will the Bucs make it to the playoffs?

My favorite part is when Traci convinces Keith to keep on playing football. That made me feel good. If my sister said that to me I'd keep on playing. I never quit when it comes to a sport.

I would recommend this to both boys and girls that are ages 7-15.

WONDER by R.J. PALLACO

August Pullman has a facial disorder. He eventually needs to go to middle school where he faces many challenges such as making friends. August has a hard time facing life. Especially with the mean game August touch going around. Can he make it through the year?

My favorite part was when August's friend Jack will stood up for him.

I would recommend this book to boys and girls 10-15 years old

BEST FRIENDS EMMA by Sally Warner

The book is about a girl named Emma. She meets a new girl named Kry and forgets about her old friend Annie. Annie is angry with Emma. Will Emma and Annie become friends again?

My favorite part of the book was when Emma was behind Annie's door leading to Annie's room and tried to apologize.

I would recommend this book for girls 8-10 years old.

MICK HARTE WAS HERE Barbara Park

Everything thing was perfectly fine until one day..................The book I'm reading was about a girl named Phoebe, and her brother got in a bike accident. He had a severe head injury and died. Phoebe is trying to hide the coincident that she is effected .When really, she is having a hard time getting through the tragedy. She doesn't know why it happened to her. Everybody tries to comfort her but she doesn't like it at all. She just doesn't understand.

The funniest part was when Phoebe was telling memories about her brother, also when Phoebe had a dream about her brother and her dog, Wocket.

I would recommend this book.

I think both boys and girls who are 8-13 years old will enjoy this book.

I rate this book *****
