Annabelle Doll and Tiffany Funcraft are 2 dolls who have been best friends ever since met in Kate Palmer's house. After an adventure in the attic, the 2 friends jumped into Kate's backpack and went to school. At the end of the, unknowingly, they climbed into a different backpack and ended up in someone else's house! Will Annabelle and Tiffany be able to get through the obstacles in order to get back to their family?
Annabelle and Tiffany are in conflict with another character.
Mean Mimi is a doll that Annabelle and Tiffany struggled with. Thinking that it wouldn't be that hard to escape from BJ's house, they realized it would be more difficult than they thought when they heard a big bang behind them.
At first, Annabelle was always a shy girl. She would get nervous when something exciting happens like when she went on an exploration with Tiffany and her Auntie Sarah. But after having a family meeting, Auntie Sarah and Tiffany told her that although she is not very active, she is the best friend they could ever have. So then on, she would always think about that time she was told about how wonderful she is.
Annabelle and Auntie Sarah reminded me of Mrs. Elien and I. When Auntie Sarah told Annabelle that she has a good brain and heart, it reminded me of when Mrs. Elien told me that my positivity is contagious.

THE DOLL PEOPLE by Ann M. Martin

This book is about a doll named Annebell who finds her missing aunt's diary. It is filled with facts about spiders. Annebell goes up to the attic to find her. Turns out she was looking for spiders and got stuck up there and couldn't get out. Annebell gets her un-stuck and gets her back to the doll house.
My favorite part of this book was when Annelbell went to her friend's house and her dad came with her. When they were looking around, the cat took the dad and hid him. You will have to read the book to see if he makes it!
I think girls ages 9 and 10 would like this book most.
