The book is about a girl talking about her celebrating year of the dog.The main character meets a new friend named Melody and has lots adventures in family.Also she has a new cousin named Albert while she is enjoying the party for her new cousin.
My favorite part is the is the ending when the main character is celebrating something else.
I would recomed both boys and girls up to 8-10 years old.
