THE HIDDEN GIRL: THE TRUE STORY OF THE HOLOCAUST by Lola Rein Kaufman with Lois Metzger

This book is about the holocaust, and a girl who has to hide in a dirt hole under a barn for nine months because the Germans are trying to take away all the Jews. My favorite part was when the girl was hiding with her mother and her grandmother and almost got caught. I liked this part because it was very suspenseful. I think both boys and girls ages 9-99 will enjoy reading this book. RATING: ***** Miranda Black
