Anastasia is a 11 year old girl and is a princess, who has one brother two sisters. Anastasia is very lazy and hates her Spanish teacher. About her self her mother makes all of them keep diaries for special reasons, and only Anastasia got a keep safe box.
For me the best part was when she looked in the diaries.
girls would love this book. Girls 10 to 20 or up.

NZINGHA: WARRIOR QUEEN OF MATAMBA, ANGOLA, AFRICA1595 by Patricia McKissak
If you enjoy reading
diaries, then this is the book for you. Young thirteen-year-old Nzingha, a
princess in Angola, Africa fights for her people’s land within the walls of her
own castle. When she goes to a Portuguese priest to make a peace establishment,
she learns from one of the priest’s servants tell her about slavery. Nzingha is
shocked and goes against slavery until she dies. This book includes some
illustrations, along with an epilogue for more information about Nzingha’s life.
I think that one of
my favorite parts of the book is when a prince comes to Nzingha’s castle. The
prince’s name is Prince Azeze. When he sees that there is no place to sit, he
gets a servant to bend down like chair to sit on.
I think girls who are 9-10 years old will enjoy this book.

Cleopatra is growing up and is going to Rome while trying to help her father regain his throne and help make Egypt a better place. She dreams of becoming a great queen.
My favorite part was when Cleopatra helps form a treaty with the Romans and helps her father not look like a complete idiot.

Jahanara, Princess of Princesses by Kathryn Lasky
This book is about Jahanara, a princess, who’s family is imprisoned by her power-hungry aunt, Nur Mahal. Her family gets freedom, and this book tells how her life is then.
My favorite part was when Jahanara turned 16 years old. She gets a new elephant, a gift from her father for her 16th birthday. It is her 1st birthday after freedom.
I think girls age 10-12 will enjoy reading this book.
