This book is about Violet Briggs. She just met someone who's really out of this world. He's a fairy named Sprite and he has a secret...
My favorite funniest part was when Violet through something and it bounced up and landed in his sandwich. I would recommend this book boys/girls who are ages 7 - 10.

FRINDLE by: Andrew Clements
This book is about when this boy named Nicholas Allen made up a new word. The word was frindle it meant pen. Nick said frindle everywhere but the teachers forbid it at Nicksschool Lincoln elementary school.
The most hilarious part of the book is when Miss granger and Nick echanged gifts on christmas. It was funny because it seemed as if they didn't like each other.
I'd recommend this book for both boys and girls from ages 10 to 13.

WAR OF THE WORLDS by H. G. Wells
In this book at first
the professor is seeing something he doesn’t quite know what it is. But what it
really is is aliens coming to ruin the
whole earth and conquer the whole world. But you have to read to find out what
really happens to our world as we know it.
My favorite part was most
the parts when the aliens are trying to end us but do not succeeded so much but
they kill most of us. Also when the aliens have a great description that was
my favorite part. But mostly I liked it all.
I would recommend this book to boys ages 8-99

ALMOST HOME by Nora Raleigh Baskin
This book is about a girl named Leah, Her parents are divorced and she moves in with her dad and his new wife. Leah writes to her mom often but her mom never writes back. Leah meets a boy named Will and they become good friends. At the end… Wait that’s telling, anyway read this book to find out the end!
My favorite part is when Leah meets Will on the way to a field trip on the bus and, Leah is wondering why he was talking to her. And Will said “Because he remembers her from second grade.”
I think girls who are 9-12 years old will enjoy this book.
