Its all about a girl with a horse.The girl can't ride the horse because it is dangerous. They don't know if they are going to take her legs off or not?

The scariest part was when they don't know what is going to happen to the horse?

I would recommend this book for girls ages 8-11

INTO THE LAND OF UNICORNS by Bruce Coville

In this book there is an 11-year-old girl named Cara, she lives with her grandmother Ivy Morris. One day mother Morris and Cara are being chased. Quickly they dove into a small church.  Waiting silently Cara was dizzy with thoughts. Who is chasing us? Did the person loose us when we dove in the church? Quickly her grandma tells her to take her special (the special is Ivy’s necklace). They climbed to the top of the church and Ivy asks her to do the unthinkable jump off of the top of the church. I think you have to read to find out what happens.

My favorite part of the book is when Lady Firethroat takes lightfoot and Cara to her cave.

I think both boys and girls who are all ages will enjoy this book
