Ella studied   dancing  but shortly after her mom died about 2 years later chick Webb turned that study into singing.

Ella overcame her childhood starting from the death of her original parents all the way to her going to dreadful reform school.



Ella worked as the band leader for Chicks band after his death and
sang scat to lead the band.

Ella was challenged by the pain of losing a limb her legs got amputated because of the sickness of diabetes.
