BIG NATE ON A ROLL by Lincoln Pierce

For boy scouts Big Nate's worst enemy ArHtur joins and there is a contest for selling wall hangers.  Artur is lucky with everything and is the best at everything too. If you sold the most wall hangers you would win a skateboard

My favorite part of the book was when Big Nate won the coin toss

I would recommend this book to boys ages 8-14

          I rate this book *****

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, THE THIRD WHEEL-Jeff Kinney

Love is in the air- but what does that mean for Greg Heffley? A valentines day dance at Gregs middle school has turned his world upside down. As Greg scrambles to find a date, he's worried he'll be left out in the cold on the big night.
His best friend, Rowley doesn't have any
prospectors either, but that's  a small consolation.
An unexpected twist gives Greg a partner for the dance and
leaves poor Rowley the odd man out. But a lot can happen in one  night,
and in the end, you will never know who's going to
be lucky in love!

my favorite part was when Greg told his story
of being inside his moms stomach.

I would recommend this book to both boys and girls ages 12-15

Dink, Josh, Ruth Rose and Tyrone Built a T-rex and go around schools showing it off. They made a lot of money but it got stolen. They think their friend stole but they are not sure. Will they get the money back?

The worst part of the book is when they lose the money

I would recommend this book for boys 6-10.

The Hardy Boys The Secret Warning by Franklin W. Dixon

Frank and Joe are trying to find out who has the real gold pharaohs head. There is a mysterious person who's trying to stop them along the way. The mysterious person was trying to steal something from the Hardy Boys house. There is a place called whalebone island and the owner of the pharaohs head was on a boat near whalebone island and the boat sunk.  The person who owned the pharaohs head had it on the boat when the boat sunk.

My favorite part was when the hosts dog ate everything at the BBQ party and the BBQ party became chaotic.

TREASURE ISLAND by Robert Louis Stevenson

This book is mostly about this young adult named Jim Hawkins and he’s the one who wrote this book. This book is sad but very adventurous. Jim Hawkins’s mother and father are in the book and own a cabin that the live in and rent. One day a Captain named Billy Bones comes to the Inn to rent it and he has a “chest” with a map in it that leads to “Treasure Island”. Days go by and the captain is running out of money to pay, and one day a man comes by…………………………………………………………………Read this The saddest part is when they leave Treasure Island on the ship; there are men still left on Treasure Island after a fight. They are injured and can’t walk so they’re on the ground and the people on the ship just leave supplies near the men. The men are saying, “please help me”. But they could be traders and kill them so they can’t take the risk. This part is very sad.
I think boys who are 9-12 years old will enjoy this book.

BRIAN'S WINTER by Gary Paulsen

This book is very good; it is an extended version of Hatchet. This book is about survival in the Canadian woods in the winter. One of the good things about it is it is that a lot of things attack him that are very dangerous.

One of my favorite parts is when he met a skunk and every day he had to feed the skunk meat for him not to spray him.

I think boys who are ages 9-14 would enjoy this book.

FOOTBALL NIGHTMARE by Matt Christopher

At the beginning of the book a kid name Keith was on a football team, in the championship and they were down by four points and Keith got a wide open pass and dropped it. He was so devastated that he didn’t want to play football because that pass was with zero seconds left in the game. His friends talked him into playing football because they said nobody would make fun of him and they ended up winning the whole thing the next year!
My favorite part was when Keith got a touchdown pass to win it all in the end of the book and when Keith’s friends talked him into playing.
I would recommend this book to boys ages 8-12

WAR OF THE WORLDS by H. G. Wells

In this book at first the professor is seeing something he doesn’t quite know what it is. But what it really is   is aliens coming to ruin the whole earth and conquer the whole world. But you have to read to find out what really happens to our world as we know it.

My favorite part was most the parts when the aliens are trying to end us but do not succeeded so much but they kill most of us. Also when the aliens have a great description that was my favorite part. But mostly I liked it all.

I would recommend this book to boys ages 8-99

DR. CARBLES IS LOSING HIS MARBLES by Dan Gutman

Dr. Carbles fires the best teacher to A.J., MR. KLUTZ!!! Dr. Carbles hires the moststrict “principal” on the planet. DR. CARBLES HIMSELF!!! Dr. Carbles is making billions of new strict rules like he made a rule that every day, rain or shine, the school has to march around the playground before going home at 3:00. will A.J. and his friends be able to bring back Mr. Klutz by winning over their skateboard challenge??? Will Dr.Carbles get fired??? Read and find out.The most funniest part to me was when Mr. Klutz was about to kiss a turkey but then  he got fired and instead (when he got hired again) he married a pig! Hilarious! The best part was when Mr. Klutz got hired again!!!

I would recommend this book to people who love to laugh and love Mr. Klutz. I think boys who are all ages  will enjoy this book.
