1.Daniel's problem was that he was being bullied at the beginning of the book and also the main problem was that Daniel,Troy,Brandon and Scotty were going to camp(which was going to a trip) until the van driver lost where he was going. When they should have been at camp a long time ago, they were lost and they were about to cross a brigde but it broke and they sank into the Midnight River. He saved his frinds(kind of bullies) and himself but not the driver. Will they live?

2.The problem got solved because Daniel helped his friends survive by making fires, feeding them and keeping them safe. Finally, they crossed the river where the stream was slow and after they did,a person came to pick them up.Daniel was a hero!

3.I think that Daniel changed. I think he's a better person because he has good friends that don't bully and he was a hero saving people he doesn't like.

4.I think the moral was that you shouldn't bully someone because that person might help you someday like Daniel. That will help me in life and at school because I think that it's a valuable lesson to not bully someone.

Daniel`s dad died 5 years ago hiking with Mr. Smitty. His mom worked very hard all year to get her son signed up for a camp and this year she signed him up for Mr. Smitty`s camp. On the way to the camp site, the driver made a wrong turn and at an unsteady bridge the van fell in! Oh no! Daniel was the first one out of the freezing cold water then saved everybody else's lives but the driver had sunk in the van. A kid tried to save the bus driver but he ended up with a broken leg. One of Daniel`s bullies then said to Daniel "You are no Einstein, but great at camping." Then at the end of the story a big truck came and the ranger in the truck said that people want an interview from them and one of them said Daniel was the one that saved them all. This story coud help me if I got lost in the middle of nowhere.

1. Daniel's problem was that he and the other boys were stranded in the forest. Another problem that he had was that he had no friends and was being bullied.

2. Daniel helped Troy,Brandon, and Scotty make it through the wilderness after the bus crashed into Midnight River. The bullying problem was solved when Daniel saved the other boys lives and they realized he was a good person.

3. I don't think Daniel changes much. He gains friends but he is still the same person he was from the beginning.

4. It teaches respect and to always help people. It also teaches you not to bully and to be a nice person.

Daniel's problem in the book was that he was being bullied by some kids in the beginning of the book on the way to a camp. He and the bullies went on the same van on the way to the camp. suddenly, the driver must of took a wrong turn and they fell off a wooden bridge that fell into Midnight River.
The problem was solved by Daniel helped the bullies survive by making a fire and finding food. They decided to go across a weak part of the river. Then they attempted to get across the river. They made it out alive because of Daniel's help. A park Ranger came and took them back home.
Daniel changed in the the book because at the end when the bullies called him "friend" for saving there lives.
This story could help me when I go go camping this summer.

Daniel's problem in the book was he was being bullied by Troy and Scotty. Also, On his way to camp in a van the van breaks a bridge, and they are in the middle of nowhere.
The problem got solved when daniel told them to see what was on the other side of the river that they fell into and they found a ranger.
I think he changed by finding that Troy and Scotty could also be nice, so he now knows that everyone has a good side.
This story could help you by learning that (usually) If you are nice to someone they are nice to you.

Daniel was getting bullied by Scotty,Brandon and, Troy. When the bus falls of the bridge and Daniel saves Troy the other boys look at him in a diffrent way. I think that the boys should have stayed with Daniel when they were looking for help because to me his scence of direction is better than the others. Daniel was a hero!

Daniel's problem was that he was getting bullied by Scotty, Troy and Brandon.
The problem got solved when they were all stuck in a forest together. Daniel helped them all servive, and they all became friends!

It teaches you to respect others for who they are.

1. Daniel's problem was that some of the boys at school were picking on him.

2. The problem wasn't entirely solved because at the end of the book, Scotty is still saying that he did all the work to save the boys. But the rest of the boys are being friends to Daniel. They got to be his friends when he helped them survive after their van fell through a bridge into a river on the way to summer camp.

3. I don't think that Daniel really changed, the other boys changed. They changed because they saw a different side of Daniel that they didn't see in school, like how he knew how to survive in the wilderness.

4. The moral of the book is "don't judge a book by its cover." The other boys (except for Brendan) were mean to Daniel without getting to know him. The book reminds us that we should try to really get to know people, and it reminds us how much people's feelings are hurt by bullying.

3.I think Daniel changed because he has good friends that don't bully. But he changed more by becoming a hero for there lives.

4.I think the moral was that you shoudn't bulley because maybe one day he'll save your life. That book taught me a valuable lesson to not be a bully.

The main character in the book, Daniel, was getting picked on. That was his problem. The other boys picked on him because they didn't think he was smart. But the other boys learned that they should accept him for he was. He saved their lives. He knew a lot of things they didn't know.

Unfortunately, the people that bullied him were on the bus.

1.Daniel is going to camp and the only people on the bus are three people who bully him. The bus driver gets them lost. They go on this dirt road and over a bridge. In the middle of the bridge the bridge breaks in and fall in Midnight River. Daniel gets out of the bus but Troy, Brandon, and Scotty (the bullies) don't. Daniel goes back and saves them but after they get out they get lost in the woods. They survive only because Daniel is good in the forest.

2.They survive only because Daniel is good in the forest. finally the rangers find them and they go back to their home town.

3.I think Daniel changed because now the bullies are nice to him and he's nice to them.

1.Daniel's problem is that he has learning problems and Troy, Brandon, and Scott make fun of him.
2.The solution is that Daniel helps his friends survive and helps them cross the river.
3.Troy, Brandon, and Scott don't bullie Daniel anymore because Daniel saved their life.
4.This book didn't teach me much about strategies against bullies.

THE MAIN CHARACTER PROBLEM IS HE IS WITH BULLY S AND GETS STUN IN THE WOODS.THEY DICED TO WALK ACROSS THE RIVER AND GO TO THE STREET AND GET IN A CAR AND GO HOME.THE BULLY S CHANGED BECAUSE DAN SAVED THERE LIFE OR ONE OF THEM.

1.The main characters problem was that he was stuck in the forest with bullies that teased him. He got in the woods by going to a camp and the driver losing track and falling into midnight river. Daniel the main character managed to save all 3 bullies but not the driver.
2.The solution to the problem was that Daniel split up with the 3 other bullies that were to stubborn to go with his idea and he went along. Half way through the trip he felt guilty and tracked them down. Apparently they had been lost so he brought them back to safety.
3. The characters that changed through-out the story were the bullies in my opinion. They started off bullying Daniel on the ride but they ended up thinking he was a hero.

The problem is that Daniel is on a trip and he is with bullies. The solution is that at the end of the book scotty, brandon, troy, did not bullie again

The main problem was that Daniel had bullies in his school and they went to the same summer camp as he did. The bus came to pick up Daniel and the bullies were on the bus. When they were going to camp when the driver got lost and went onto a bridge that broke right when they were going over it. They fell into the cold river.
The solution was that Daniel was the best in the woods and saved them by feeding them for a couple days until a truck comes to the bridge and picks them up.
The bullies changed because Daniel saved their lives.
It didn't help me because it didn't really take place in school.

1. Daniel is trapped in the woods after the van that was taking him and four other boys to summer camp crashed. The driver was killed, but Daniel and the other boys, who sometimes bully Daniel, survived. Now Daniel is faced with a choice. Should he leave the bullies behind and save himself, or try to get all of them to safety?

2. Daniel decides to try to save everyone, and helps the other boys, who he sort of makes friends with, get to safety.

3. Daniel realizes that just because someone seems like a bully at first doesn't mean that they are a bully permanently. Also, he learns that sometimes you have to put others' needs before your own.

4. I think that this story has a moral, which is that not everyone is a bully just because they seem that way at first glance. I also think that it shows that bullies aren't necessarily going to be bullies forever and ever. People can change.

Daniel saves Troy, Scotty, and Brandon from the river, and the three boys must learn to trust Daniel in order to survive.

1. Daniel's problem was that he was that he was being bullied by Troy Brandon and Scotty because he was a slow learner. Also, while Daniel was on the bus to his camp, the bus fell through a wooden bridge and Daniel along with Troy Brandon and Scotty were stranded.
2. Daniel's solution to the problem

I read Danger On Midnight River. The story had four main characters: the hero, Daniel and the bullies, Troy, Scotty and Brandon.

1. Daniel's problem was he was getting bullied. Daniel was going to a camp(One he didn't want to go to)and when the bus taking him to the camp came, he found out that three bullies would becoming along with him. When they were on the road, the driver lost where they were going and Daniel realized they should've been at camp a long time ago. The bus was crossing a bridge and then, the bridge suddenly broke and the fell into Midnight River. Daniel managed to save the bullies, but not the bus driver.

2.The problem was solved by Daniel taking care of the bullies and helping them survive.

3.Daniel changed because he turned out to be brave and the bullies didn't bully him anymore.

4. I think that you shouldn't bully people because one day, that person may help you.

Daniel's problem was he was always being bullied at his school at the beginning of the book, the later problem is that he and the people that bullied him were going to camp but the driver drove right over an unstable bridge which collapsed under the van and fell into the river.
