Angelic Layer #1 by Clamp

A girl goes to Tokyo to find her aunt, but she ends up going to a toy store with a stranger. She gets a special doll with all this equipment. She enters tournaments with her doll and she's really good! She also gets help from her friends along the way. My favorite part was when Misaki (the main character) actually designed her doll "Angel" I think anybody who likes exciting manga (Japanese comics) will love this book!
