The story takes place in school and at home. There are mainly 7 characters. The main characters make inventions but none of them work and every student has to participate.
My favorite part is when the main character messes up his hair put on silly glasses and a lab coat.
I would recommend this book to boys ages 5-10 years old,

THE BULLY FROM THE BLACK LAGOON by Mike Thaler
This book is about a kid who is afraid of the new kid in school that everyone says is a bully. Then, at the end of the book, he crashes in to the bully! Will he get beat up?!
My favorite part is when he crashes in to the bully and is scared of what will happen next.
I think both boys and girls ages 5- 11 will enjoy this book
