This is a story about the rivalry of two brothers that are on the same baseball team in the championship game. But one brothers jealousy comes at the wrong time. Now the brothers have to work together to lead there team to victory!

The most surprising part was when Jake's  bat didn't brake he was using his brother Luke's bat which broke.

THE MILLION DOLLAR SHOT by Dan Gutman

This book is about a kid named Eddie Ball , who is very poor and has a girlfriend. He is also a basketball player. There is a  company that makes things that are called finkels, and his mom is an employee. then he takes the million dollar shot.
My favorite part was when Eddie took the million dollar shot.
I would recommend this book for boys and girls who are ages 8-12

FOOTBALL NIGHTMARE by Matt Christopher

The Bucs are in the championships and the game is tied 14-14. Keith, their wide receiver goes deep and Billy, their quarterback fires a pass to Keith. Keith almost catches it but misses. After a few days he decides to quit but his sister Traci convinces him to keep on playing. Next season Keith does really well but will the Bucs make it to the playoffs?

My favorite part is when Traci convinces Keith to keep on playing football. That made me feel good. If my sister said that to me I'd keep on playing. I never quit when it comes to a sport.

I would recommend this to both boys and girls that are ages 7-15.

LONG ARM QAURTER BACK Matt Christopher

The first game they lost by only one point. The second game they lost by a person almost tackling someone who was running for a touchdown. At the last game the long arm quarter back threw the ball all the way to the touch down field when his teammate  ran over there and caught the foot ball by a foot.

My scariest  part of the book was when the person ran to catch the football and I thought he wasent going to catch it but when he did I was relieved.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls who are ages 9-10.

I would rate this book ****.

MISS SMALL IS OFF THE WALL by Dan Gutman

AJ and his friends are exited for their first fizz ed class. But when they walk in their teacher said "have fun with Miss Small, class." Once they look at Miss Small AJ thinks she is the tallest person he's ever met. She makes the class square dance and juggle feathers.  Where is the football, hockey, soccer, baseball, and volleyball?

I thought the funnest part was when AJ thought they were going to play doge ball so he put him self across from Andrea to whip her in the face, but instead the were going to be square dance partners. ;)

I would recommend this book to both boys and  girls ages 6-9

TWO MINUTE DRILL by Mike Lupica

This book is about two kids named Scott and Chris. Chris has dyslexia and is tutored by Scott. A big reading test is about to happen and Chris wants to quit already because of his dyslexia. Also, tryouts for the town's team are about to happen and both of them  want to get onto it.
My favorite part was when Chris passed the reading test and he gave Scott a thumbs-up from across the room.
I would recommend this book to boys ages 9-13

THE UNDERDOGS by Mike Lupica

This book is about a town that doesn't have enough money to buy equipment and uniforms for a Pop Warner football team. But then the town came up with the money and were nicknamed the Underdogs.

My favorite part is when Will and his team got to play under the lights and it reminds me of when I practiced under the lights.

I would recommend this book to boys 9-13 years old

GAME CHANGERS by Mike Lupica

This book is about a kid named Ben that wants to play quarterback in football but there is a kid that is starting named Shawn will Ben be quarterback?

The most surprising part for me was that the quarterback Shawn doesn't even want to be quarterback just for his dad that was a quarterback in the NFL.

I would recommend this book for boys ages 8-20

This book in my opinion is a *****
