WHITE FANG by Jack London

Bill and Henry are traveling through the wilds of Alaska.A pack of wolves eat one dog each night. Bill and Henry are helpless with only 2 dogs.Bill has enough of that and tries to shoot the wolves. He didn't come back to Henry. One wolf and the pack find the moose. After the moose was eaten, the wolves broke up into 2 per pack. White Fang learns how to eat smaller animals and then bigger animals. Then he goes with the Indians, moves on to a mean guy. Will he ever live with somebody nice.

The saddest part of the book was when Bill got killed by the wolves.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls 9-78 years old.

RUNT by Marion Dane Bauer

This story is about a wolf named Runt who leads himself into trouble trying to persuade his father into changing his name to something other than Runt. He even leads himself into the humans “layer.” He experiences seeing death and gets himself into adventure. All he wants is, to show his father that he is not a runt and that he can also be brave.
The most disgusting part is when a lot of animals are lying on the ground, dead, none of the good wolfs were. They ate a poisoned cow that the humans have touched
I would recommend this book to people who love animals and are interested in how they live
I think both boys and girls age 7 and up will enjoy this book.

MYSTERY OF THE WHITE WOLF by Rob Roy

Mystery of the White Wolf is in the series A to Z Mysteries. This is about 3 kids (Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose); someone has stolen some baby white wolves. The kids have to find out who stole them and catch the wolf nappers.
All of it was very exiting.

I think both boys and girls who are 6-11 years old will enjoy this book

Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver

A 12 year old boy named Torak grants his Pa's dying wish "Reach the mountain of world spirits". Going through many dangers, Torak finds the mountain with the help of Wolf and Renn. My favorite part was when Torak finds an orphaned wolf cub and wants to eat him. He realizes that this wolf could be the guide his pa spoke of, and he doesn't eat the cub after all. The cub is a big help on the journey. I think kids 8-15 would enjoy this book I think boys would enjoy this book. RATING: ***** Popeye
