A boy named A.J is was walking to school with his friends meet their school crossing guard, Mr. Louie. Mr. Louie drones on and on about how love is awesome. He tells them that he loves love so much that he drinks a love potion every morning. A.J gets to school and finds out that the school is having a assembly. At the end he finds out about the school's love party on Valentines day. On the day of the party everyone is dancing to the music of a fake "KISS". A.J gets thirsty so he goes to the water fountain and meets up with Mr. Louie. Mr. Louie tells A.J that he spiked the water with his love potion. A.J spits it out and has a sudden urge to kiss a girl he hates. He kisses her and then sees Mr. Mackey (the reading specialist) propose to Miss Daisy (his teacher).
My favorite part was when A.J. kissed Andrea, the annoying girl he hates.
I would recommend this book to both boys and girls ages 6-11

This book is about a ten-year-old girl named Ariel who has a new sibling on the way. Together, her grandma and her secretly make a quilt. But Grandma is sick! Ariel is left to finish the quilt alone.
I loved the description and feeling in the text.
