ELLA FITZGERALD by Rm 12

Ella was born in Newport news Virginia on April twentieth fifth nineteen seventeen.
Ella was the child of her amazing parents William and Temple Fitzgerald.
Ella lived in Yonkers and Harlem New York, on the streets, and in reform school.
Ella`s passion when she was younger was swinging this way and that way dancing to the beat,  but as she grew up scat singing was her thing.
Ella overcame racial segregation, the separation between whites and black where whites could do more than those who were blacks.
Ella worked as a musician day after day with Chick Webb and the Jazz Philharmonic.
Ella was challenged by being black where she could not perform at the mocombo, could not drink at the same water fountain as those white,or ride on buses in the front with whites.
Ella`s personality could be described as kind when she donated her money to charity and gave her voice to the crowd and brave when she overcame her long rough childhood.
Ella was always a success with her concerts,people would cheer even if they were white.
Never was she not successful.
Ella was best known for her phenomenal scat singing.
Ella was one of the most accomplished singers there has ever been.

 Ella was born in Newport  News, Virginia.

Ella was a child of Tempie and William but was closest to Chick Webb.

Ella lived in Yonkers, NY, reform school and Beverly Hills, CA.

Ella studied music and dance on the streets.

Ella overcame discrimination against black people.

Ella worked as someone who ran errands for owners of illegal gambling joints.

Ella was challenged by not being treated fair.

Ella's personality would be described as outgoing, musical and someone who perseveres.

Ella was always determined
       Never giving up.

Ella was best known for her great singing talent.

Ella was a remarkable hero.
