Ella Fitz Vocalist - Koa

Ella



Ella was giving, determined, self confident and proud with the most energetic lungs.

Ella was the daughter of Temple and William who were in the worst shape that could be cause William left Ella shortly after her birth.

Ella best loved the skitty scat the bippty bebop and in general vocally singing. Her mentor was Chick Webb who taught her everything under his wing.

Ella felt blessed with her voice, free with her singing and felt that her notes could go to the end of the world.

Ella feared to loose her voice and feared to not be able to peep a single word again.

Ella needed her fans but most of all a family with love and kindness.

Ella gave a rhythm to life but also to others lives.

Ella lived in NewPort New Virginia then to Yonkers New York. Also visited many different country's.

Ella was a vocalist to the world but also known as a vocal virtuoso.

Ella challenged segregation and family crisis.

Ella was born in Newport News, Virginia
Ella was the child of William and Tempe
Ella lived in Yonkers, New York, and then moved to Beverly Hills, California.
Ella dropped out of school and began running errands for owners of illegal gambling joints and she was sent to reform school.
Ella's job during her career was a jazz singer and in her younger years she was a dancer on the streets.
Ella was challenged by living on the streets and the death of her mother.
Ella's personality could be described as brave, someone who never gave up, and gave her absolute best every day.
Ella was always going for it!
Never stepped down from racism
Ella was best known for singing scat.
Ella was a the daughter of jazz and a singer who sang bebop and kept fighting through racism.
