MY WEIRD SCHOOL: MR. DOCKER IS OFF HIS ROCKER by Dan Gutman

A.J.(the main character) finds out that he is getting a new science teacher.  The new teacher is Mr. Docker.  He makes things out of potatoes.  A.J. thinks science is for nerds.  Andrea thinks it is not and she knows what the initials A.J. stands for.  After many science classes they had a science fair.  A.J. did not do a science project, but he made a silly excuse.  At the end of the book A.J. does not think science is for nerds.  Andrea tells EVERYONE what A.J. stands for... then the book ends!!!???

My favorite part of the book was the cliff hanger at the end.

I would recommend this book for both boys and girls who are ages 7-10.

MISS CHILD HAS GONE WILD! By:Dan Gutman

Miss. Child has gone wild, is about when A.J.'s class wins a "cleanest classroom" award. The award is a trip to the zoo. The zookeeper's name is Miss.Child, and of course, she has gone wild! A.J.'s zoo buddy is Andrea! UGH! He hates Andrea, and he has to hold hands with her! The class meets Binky the elephant, Lulu the gorilla, and Brian the lion. When they visited Brian the lion, Emily fell into the lion cage!
That is a brief summary of the book.

The funniest part of the book was when A.J. and Andrea went to "Penguin Paradise" (A.J's favorite animal)  and A.J. was staring at them and thinking that they were saying to him, "Come A.J., come live with us in Antarctica!" Then he fell into a daze, and almost climbed into the penguin pool!

I would recommend this book to both boys and girls who are ages 7-11.

MISS SMALL IS OFF THE WALL by Dan Gutman

AJ and his friends are exited for their first fizz ed class. But when they walk in their teacher said "have fun with Miss Small, class." Once they look at Miss Small AJ thinks she is the tallest person he's ever met. She makes the class square dance and juggle feathers.  Where is the football, hockey, soccer, baseball, and volleyball?

I thought the funnest part was when AJ thought they were going to play doge ball so he put him self across from Andrea to whip her in the face, but instead the were going to be square dance partners. ;)

I would recommend this book to both boys and  girls ages 6-9
