There is a boy named Eragon. He found a egg which hatched into a little dragon.There was also a evil king and destroyed his home and family. He is now fighting for the the world and he is battling for the throne.
The coolest part is Eragon sent a tornado of swords to the evil king.
I would recommend this book to boys who are ages 9-13.

CLONE CODES by the McKissacks
The story takes place in the year 2170.It is about a girl named leanna and her mom who are caught up in chaos.They are both courageous woman trying to survive.
The main character was in conflict with Spiller the bounty hunter.
She was hiding from most of the country.She was trying figure out why her mom was arrested.
Her confidence increased because she realized she needed to fight for freedom more.
Leanna reminds me of Katniss in the Hunger Games she never gave up and fought for freedom also.

Rosetta and Fawn are completely different. Rosetta makes a deal with Fawn. The deal was if Fawn gets dressed for the party that night she would do whatever she wants to do. One day , Andrew and Evan were babysitting 8 year old Kermit who loved experimenting. Accidentally, they are an experiment Kermit was doing. That experiment made Evan grow stories high and they have to find a way to stop it.
They have to find about how to shrink him back to normal size with his friends Kermit and Andrew.
At the beginning of the book Kermit always pranked them. As the book went on, Evan accidentally ate a chemical called Monster Blood . When he grew two stories tall, Kermit instead of pranking him he helps him by mixing chemicals up to shrink him back to normal. Everyone became friendlier after that.
I could relate to this because when somethings wrong with me I have to figure something out to change the problem.

ELDEST by Christopher Paolini
This book is about Eragon training with Oromis and Glaedr the only living old riders in Ellesmera. In the middle of his training he gets a vision that the Varden needs help. He leaves and goes to them and in the middle of the war he meets a new enemy that will make him train harder.
Eragon was in a conflict with the elf named Ayra.
The conflict was that Eragon develops feelings for Ayra which gets in the way of his training. When Ayra finds out she gets furious with him does not speak for a while.
Eragon changed completely in the midst of his blood-oath celebration because Oromis and 2 dragon ladies change Eragon into a were-elf. he gets the traits of a elf. Eragon begins to look like an elf. he becomes as fast and as strong as an elf but is better because he is a Dragon Rider. Eragon becomes more fond of Saphira.

FLAT STANLEY by Jeff Brown
Stanley was accidentally flattened by a bulletin board, Stanley has to adjust to being flat. Stanley and his family make the best of the situation. Near the end, Stanley becomes a hero by catching the sneak thieves.
He struggled with his brother Arthur and got tangled in a tree and the sneak thieves. The main conflict is getting used to being flat.He was made fun of a lot because he was flat.
Flat Stanley learned to be gentle with his brother's feelings, who was jealous. He learned to help others because he was flat and so he could do things like slide under doors and be flown like a kite.
People need to accept themselves the way they are (and I do that).

Pandora was in conflict with the bubbles (the bad things inside them) and she was also in conflict with her friends that didn't listen to or believe what happened.
Pandora changed throughout this book. She became more careful with her curiousness and she learned not to snoop anymore. She also learned to respect differences like how Epimetheus was different because he was a Titan.
I relate to Pandora because I am also curious. I was very curious to know what was in my Christmas presents and if I did, I would be in trouble. (not with bubbles though.)

Eragon is traveling in the Spine and finds a mysterious stone.One night, the "stone" hatches into a dragon and he raises it (the dragon's name is Saphira).One day he is traveling again but when he comes back, the Razzac destroys his home, and kills his step-father, Garrow. Eragon is angered by Garrow's death and want revenge. Brom, a magician and he travel to get Eragon's revenge. Then another character named Murtagh joins the crew while Brom dies. Will Eragon survive all the encounters?!
Eragon is in conflict with the Razzac, the shade and himself trying to learn magic and swordsmanship.
The Empire Galbatrix and the Varden are at war and Saphira and he are teaming up with the Varden. But the Urgals team up with Galbatrix so he fights a lot of Urgals. At the end, when he was in Tronjheim, Urgals raid the city so Murtagh, Saphira, Eragon, and the people of Tronjheim have to fight off hundreds of urgals (and one Shade). Eragon also fights off a Shade who wants revenge.
Eragon changes in a lot of ways. First, he used to fight with a bow &arrow. Now, he uses a sword(Zar'roc). Before he traveled with Brom, all he could use was his bow &arrow. Now after practicing with Brom, he can use a lot of magic, swords, and bow &arrow.At the end, Eragon learns to forget about the past and move on.
Eragon reminded me of myself because if I lose, I want to get revenge like Eragon wants revenge on Razzac for the loss of his step-father.I wish I could forgive people like Eragon.(it's not like I can't forgive people. I just need to get better at it.)
