WHITE FANG BY JACK LONDON

White Fang is about a wolf who gets captured with his mom. if he stays, he'll see his mother. when his mother saw White Fang she didn't remember him. White Fang got traded for beer by Beautysmith. but then, he gets saved by Weeden Scott. what happens then??? READ AND SEE!!!

My favorite part was when White Fang killed his enemy.

I recommened this book for kids 9 years old.

THE SEARCH OF THE KLONDLIKE GOLD by Lynda Wilson

The book is about two kids named Simon and Michel they travel in time with some help from Mr Sanderson so they can get there school project done. Will they finish in time?

My favorite part was when they had asked there teacher when there next assignment is.

I would recommend this book for 9 and 10 year olds for boys and girls.

The River by Gary Paulsen

A man named Derek comes by to Brian Robeson's house and asks him to go into the Canadian wilderness again so Derek can learn about survival. Brian says yes, but during the trip, Derek falls and goes into a coma. Brian could not radio his mom, so he found a trading post...but he has to go across a river to get there. Will he make it??? Read the book to find out! My favorite part was when Brian has to go across the river and survive. I love it when people have to survive!I think both boys and girls will enjoy this book. This book is about a boy named Brian in the Canadian woods. He has to learn to survive the winter. My favorite part was when he almost got killed by a bear, because the bear smelled dead food. I think both boys and girls ages 9-13 will enjoy this book. RATING: **** Book Man 04

This book about a hockey player Mario Lemuix. He played in the pros and for a couple other good teams. My favorite pages are the white pages in the middle. I think boys ages 7-11 will enjoy this book. RATING: ***** Beast 87

This book is about a boy who is in the wilderness and has to survive. Also, he finds a dog who is hurt. My favorite part of the book was when Brian and the dog fight the bear. I think boys who are ages 9-11 will enjoy this book. RATING: *** Zaft

It is about Canadian people doing stuff. My favorite part was reading about the holidays and festivals. I think both boys and girls ages 13-123 will enjoy this book. RATING: * Stewie

Canada: the Land by Bobbie Kalman

This book is about life in Canada: how they farm, about animals, about life in Canada and how Canada looks. My favorite part was when they talk about Ontario, which is the second largest province. The name is what the native Iroquois gave it. It’s cool because it is where Niagara Falls is located, and the falls drops 176 feet and{ 54 meters } ! I think adults ages 25 will enjoy this book. Fly Away Home by Patricia Hermes

Amy Aldens tragedy of losing her mom makes her hide in her shell. Now living with her divorced dad in her new Canadian home. She finds baby geese when she was wandering one day. She raises them in her home. But now its migration time, and she must teach them how to “Fly Away Home”. I liked it when her dad and her dad's girlfriend come home and she is sleeping with the baby geese. I think both boys and girls ages 6-20 will enjoy this book. RATING: **** Spaz Sister 385

The book is about all the different cultures of Canada. Also it’s about all of the people from Canada and about the architecture. My favorite part of the is all of the really cool buildings that they build. Also what was really cool is that Jim Carrey is from Canada. I think both boys and girls ages 8-12 will enjoy this book. Visiting Canada by Lynda Sorenson

It is full of Canada info. It tells me everything I need to know if I were moving to Canada or if I were just learning about it in a short summary. I was interested when learning about the wildlife there. There is moose, elk. Big horn sheep, deer, wolf, grizzly, whales, and in fall polar bears! This book is about Quebec, in Canada. It is a nonfiction book that has many interesting facts about Quebec and other places in Canada. An interesting fact that I learned was that some industries in Canada are pulp, paper, aluminum, and iron ore. I think both boys and girls ages 1-100 years old will enjoy this book. Ontario by Michael Barnes

This book is about the cultures, land and about the people who live there. I learned that many of the boulders that you see there are over one million years old. I also learned that the White Trillium and is the official flower of Ontario. My favorite part was when I learned that there is a Polar Bear Park and people can go visit there and see polar bears. I am definitely going to Ontario some day to look at Polar Bears up close. I think both boys and girls will enjoy this book. RATING: *** Chillin07

Canada by Nathan Olsen

This book was about Canada. It was formed on July 1st, 1867. It is a big country that borders the U.S. It is known to be the 2nd biggest country right after Russia. The 11-point maple leaf was chosen to be Canada’s symbol. The reason that Canada is so cold is because to the north is the Arctic Ocean which blows cold, harsh winds. There is also a lot of snow. Both the wind and the snow shape the land and keep it cold. Canada has a great economy! The land attracts over 1,000,000 tourists a year. There are also opportunities for teachers, doctors and nurses, manufacturers, miners, farmers, and fishermen. My favorite part is that it has many interesting facts. I learned many things about Canada that I didn’t know. I hope you will enjoy it too! I think children who are 5-7 years old will enjoy this book I think boys, girls, and anyone who likes to learn knew things will enjoy this book. RATING: *** HSM Gal
