THE SISTERS GRIMM: FAIRY TALE DETECTIVES by Michael Buckley

The plot of this book was Sabrina and Daphne Grimm's parents disappeared one year and a half ago. They have run away from every foster home they have been to. Now they have found their grandmother who they thought was dead! Then they realized she was crazy because she said all of the fairy tale creatures are real and living among them! Right before they run away from her she gets kidnaped by a giant and they will do anything to get her back.

Sabrina and Daphne stuggled over the death of their parrents and the kidnaping of their grandmother.

The conflict was Sabrina and Daphne trying to rescue their grandmother from the giant.

Sabrina and Daphne change by deciding to stay with their grandmother and they will also help their grandmother with her job which is solving fairy tale mysteries!

Sabrina is like me because she thinks about her future and how to make it better.

THE ORPHAN SINGER BY Emily Arnold McCully

A girl is born to the Dolci family who can't keep her so they leave her in the infant drawer to the Ospedalo. She was born as Nina but is now Catarina. She makes the choir school and often gets visited by her family. She finds out that her brother is sick and sneaks out of the Ospedalo.

My favorite part was when Catarina snuck out of the Ospedalo.
I think girls between 6-10 years old will like this book
