BRIAN'S WINTER by Gary Paulsen

So far Brian has been surviving in the Canadian Wilderness for summer and fall now here comes winter. He has to stay healthy and think positive about all what’s happened and going to happen. He has to make new clothes for protecting from diseases, new shelter for protection from animals, and new snowshoes to walk without falling.

In my opinion the disturbing part is when Brian sees the dead carcass of the doe and all the blood was scattered everywhere it was so disturbing my hands became numb.

I would recommend this book to boys and girls ages 9-12

Brian's Rerturn by Gary Paulsen

The book is about surviving in the Canadian wilderness. There was no one else there. He is only 13 years old. My favorite part of the book was when he met an old man who lived there for a long long time and his name was Billy, but he only saw him for one day. I think both boys and girls ages 7-13 will enjoy this book. RATING: * NN

Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen

Brian’s Winter is about a boy named Brian and how he is stuck in the Canadian wilderness with a hatchet and a survival pack. He has to get his food by himself. He’s also stuck during the winter. The saddest part of the book is when he watches a couple of wolves tear at a live animal. I think both boys and girls ages 10-13 will enjoy this book. RATING: *** Jinjo16

Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen

A boy named Brian Robeson is stuck in the Canadian wilderness during winter. After a summer and fall now winter. His life is at stake!! What can he ( make that must) do to survive?? My opinion on the grosses part of the book is toward the end. Don’t worry it won’t ruin the book. Brian is watching a couple of wolves eat the moose he was watching…. ALIVE!!!! They were eating the mooses rump (or butt) while the moose was still alive!!!!! It was nasty!!! I think children who are 8-12 years old will enjoy this book I think both boys and girls will read this book RATING: **** Dishwasher26
