So far Brian has been surviving in the
Canadian Wilderness for summer and fall now here comes winter. He has to stay
healthy and think positive about all what’s happened and going to happen. He
has to make new clothes for protecting from diseases, new shelter for
protection from animals, and new snowshoes to walk without falling.
In my opinion the
disturbing part is when Brian sees the dead carcass of the doe and all the
blood was scattered everywhere it was so disturbing my hands became numb.
I would recommend this book to boys and girls ages 9-12
