In the story, a blacksmith
crafts a rifle that has such good aim, that the blacksmith believes that he
cannot make another like it. He needed money to raise a family, so he sells it
to a man who becomes a famous sharpshooter. When he dies of disease, the gun
was passed down for generations until present day. Then tragedy strikes.
The saddest part is when
the gun accidentally fires and kills the present owner’s friend.
I think boys who are 10 years old will enjoy this book.
