The Fledgling is about an
eight year old girl who really wants to fly and believes she already has. She
thought she flew and she will keep trying until she does. At the end she gets a
gift from the goose.
My favorite part of the
book was when she got the present from the goose prince. He was killed by a
shot gun and the ball rolls into Georgie’s bush house.
I think girls who are ages 11-13 will enjoy this book.
