This book is about a 12
year old girl in seventh grade who find out she is a mermaid. And how she goes
through everyday life knowing that someone might find out her secrec. And call
her a freak. She also is on a mission to find her dad and find out why the
lonely light house man keeps on seeing her mom and is he trying to hurt her.
She also has to find out were her dad is,why he left her, and what wrong with
her parents find out. Will Emily ever find out all these thing or quit while
she is ahead read the book to find out!
My favorite part in the
story was we she go to mermaid school and gets information on why king neptune
doesn’t want a mermaid and a human to get married.
I would recommend this book to girls ages 8-12
