10-year-old Jumper, moves
from another town to New York
after his father dies. He spends his summer at a baseball camp but he has no
idea how to play baseball. He likes basketball. He has a hard time dealing with
all the challenges in his life but his coach and his grandmother encourage him
to restart his life.
My favorite part was
when Jumper’s team won the baseball game at the end of the book. Jumper could
have caught the last out but he let Marcus catch it
I would recommend this book to both boys and girls who are ages 8-11
