Basically more than 200 years ago Ben Franklin tried to prove that lighting is electricity with a key and a kite.
Ben struggled to prove that lighting is electricity nature.
Ben Franklin tried to prove that lighting is electricity and did it with a kite and a key.
At first the people said that lighting was not electricity but then Ben proves them wrong he gets creative and then uses a kite and a key and proved that lightning is electricity.
In baseball I tried to prove that I could hit a home run after some practice and hard work I hit a home run!

THE CAT IN THE HAT by Dr. Seuss
One day Dan and Sally sat in front of the window to watch the rain. They watched the rain because they couldn't play outside. So the Cat in the hat came and showed them tricks and games. But on his last trick the Cat in the hat failed.
My favorite part was when the cat in the hat brought out Thing one and
Thing two, then Thing one and Thing two messed up The whole house.
I would recommend this book to both boys and girls who are ages four through six.

THE HIDDEN GIRL: THE TRUE STORY OF THE HOLOCAUST by Lola Rein Kaufman with Lois Metzger
This book is about the holocaust, and a girl who has to hide in a dirt hole under a barn for nine months because the Germans are trying to take away all the Jews. My favorite part was when the girl was hiding with her mother and her grandmother and almost got caught. I liked this part because it was very suspenseful.
I think both boys and girls ages 9-99 will enjoy reading this book.

LOOK WHAT CAME FROM THE NETHERLANDS by Kevin A. Davis
LOOK WHAT CAME FROM MEXICO by Miles Harvey

The book is about how Mexicans live and what they do. It tells the things that the Mexicans invented. The Mexicans invented chewing gum, rubber balls, and a game called tlachtili.
My favorite part of the book was when they talked about the food. I thought it was very interesting that the Mexicans were the first who discovered chocolate. The part about the Mexicans having the idea to grow corn for food was very interesting to me.
I think children who are young will enjoy this book.
