DAISY-HEAD MAYZIE By Dr.Seuss

In a school, in room #8, Mayzie McGrew was doing her work and a daisy sprouted out of her head, Mayzie's teacher Miss Sneetcher came over and toke her to the principal's office to see what was going on. Mr.Grumm the pricipal, knew all question and all answers, but Mr.Grumm didn't know what was going on, then Finagle the agent said to Mayzie "Do you want to be famous?" Mayzie thought about it and signed the contract and went to being famous. After awhile Mayzie didn't want to be famous, so she ran away. Then the daisy on her head started to die, "That's bad!!"she thought,"If the daisy dies, I  could die"...

My favorite part was when the daisy sprouted out of Mayzie's head, it was funny.

I would recommend this book for boys and girls, ages 1-16.

FRINDLE by: Andrew Clements

This book is about when this boy named Nicholas Allen made up a new word. The word was frindle it meant pen. Nick said frindle everywhere but the teachers forbid it at Nicksschool Lincoln    elementary school.

The most hilarious part of the book is when Miss granger and Nick echanged gifts on christmas. It was funny because it seemed as if they didn't like each other.

I'd recommend this book for both boys and girls from ages 10 to 13.
