The story takes place in the year 2170.It is about a girl named leanna and her mom who are caught up in chaos. They are both courageous woman trying to survive.

The  main character was in conflict with Spiller the bounty hunter.
She was hiding from most of the country. She was trying figure out why her mom was arrested.

Her confidence increased because she realized she needed to fight for freedom more.

Leanna reminds me of Katniss in the Hunger Games she never gave up and fought for freedom also.

THE 13TH REALITY by James Dashner

Thirteen-year-old Atticus Higginbottom, a.k.a. Tick, has a normal life until he starts receiving letters that have no return address and are signed simply “M.G.” These letters lead Tick on a race to figure out the mysterious clues in the letters. On the way, he meets several other people, all of which are getting the same strange messages as Tick. The clues lead Tick and his new friends to a huge secret: they live in just one of many different universes, or Realities. They join the ranks of the Realitants, a group dedicated to protecting the Realities. But Tick discovers that he has a strange power that makes him very special…
My favorite part of this book is when Tick and his friends solve the mystery of the letters and find out who was sending the letters.
I think both boys and girls of any age will enjoy this book.

In this book at first the professor is seeing something he doesn’t quite know what it is. But what it really is   is aliens coming to ruin the whole earth and conquer the whole world. But you have to read to find out what really happens to our world as we know it.

GOOSEBUMPS: THE BEAST FROM THE EAST by R.L. Stine

Ginger, the Main character, and her 2 twin brothers get lost in a forest on a camping trip with their family. Soon the forest changes and all of the plants turn different! But the strangest thing of all is the creatures there! There are large blue rabid bear looking things, that want to play a game like tag, but the rules are different! If you lose. . . You’re dinner!
My favorite part is when Ginger gets all different colored sap and sticky-ness all over her hands & hair, plus she gets all wrapped up in rattle snakes, but all the creatures say is “WOW! You even went in for extra credit! That’s plus 3,000 points! Are you sure you’ve never played this game before?”
I think boys and girls who are 8-14 years old will enjoy this book.

SEA OF MONSTERS by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson is finishing seventh grade and he hasn’t had any problems lately. But on the last day school, Percy finds himself in a death match of dodge ball with Laistrygonian Giants and cannibals and receives news from his friend Annabeth that their camp (Camp Half-Blood) is in trouble and the magical borders of the camp that keep the monsters away have been poisoned. Camp Half-Blood is in danger!!!Percy and Annabeth have to travel into the Sea of Monsters and bring back the Golden Fleece to protect the camp with danger at their every turn! The funniest part of the book is when Percy encounters Cyrce the sorceress and she turns Percy into a guinea pig. This reminds me of once when I was trying to draw a dog and it came out looking like a guinea pig. I think both boys and girls who are 8-12 years old will enjoy this book.
