SEA OF MONSTERS by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson is finishing seventh grade and he hasn’t had any problems lately. But on the last day school, Percy finds himself in a death match of dodge ball with Laistrygonian Giants and cannibals and receives news from his friend Annabeth that their camp (Camp Half-Blood) is in trouble and the magical borders of the camp that keep the monsters away have been poisoned. Camp Half-Blood is in danger!!!Percy and Annabeth have to travel into the Sea of Monsters and bring back the Golden Fleece to protect the camp with danger at their every turn! The funniest part of the book is when Percy encounters Cyrce the sorceress and she turns Percy into a guinea pig. This reminds me of once when I was trying to draw a dog and it came out looking like a guinea pig. I think both boys and girls who are 8-12 years old will enjoy this book.
