Ricky was a little kid when he got scared of dogs. So when a stray comes to his house Rickey tells him to get lost but the pup keeps trying to play with him and every day Ricky's mom goes to feed the cats he comes and the cats aren’t sharing and the poor dog is starving. Will Ricky let him starve or get a best friend?
My favorite part was when When Ricky started feeding Kitty.
I think both boys and girls age 10-12 will enjoy this book.
