FISH By Gregory Mone

Fish lived in a farm near a lake. He has many brothers and sisters and lived by growing potato and vegetables. Fish who got his nickname when his brother pushed him in the deep parts of the water. He didn't know  how to swim until he fell in to the water. He could swim like a fish and his mother said "I'm going to raise a man, not a fish and got his nickname. When Shamrock dies Fish has to go to work, and Fish gets stuck in a pirate adventure.
The conflict was scab who was violent unlike Fish who was peaceful.

The conflict was when  mutiny struck the Scurvy Mistress and Fish is trying to stop them from killing them and the crew.

Fish changed during the book when they thought he never belonged anywhere but then he found out that everyone belonged somewhere. Sometimes it is just never found.

I know how uncomfortable it is when brothers fight

FISH by Gregory Mone

Fish was supposed to bring an important letter to Reginald Swift. When Fish gets caught on a pirate ship, he becomes a pirate. There is a mysterious traitor on the pirate ship. Who is it? Will Fish find out in time?

The saddest part is when Nate has to walk the plank.

Boys who are between ages 8-20 will like this book.

Rating ***** stars.

TIME WARP TRIO THE NOT SO JOLLY ROGER by Scieske, Jon

The book is about:  Boys that time travel and get attacked by pirates in need to find the special book after getting out

The scariest part is when the boys almost get shot.

I recommend  this book for boys age 9-11.

My rating for this book is*****.

TREASURE ISLAND by Robert Louis Stevenson

This book is mostly about this young adult named Jim Hawkins and he’s the one who wrote this book. This book is sad but very adventurous. Jim Hawkins’s mother and father are in the book and own a cabin that the live in and rent. One day a Captain named Billy Bones comes to the Inn to rent it and he has a “chest” with a map in it that leads to “Treasure Island”. Days go by and the captain is running out of money to pay, and one day a man comes by…………………………………………………………………Read this The saddest part is when they leave Treasure Island on the ship; there are men still left on Treasure Island after a fight. They are injured and can’t walk so they’re on the ground and the people on the ship just leave supplies near the men. The men are saying, “please help me”. But they could be traders and kill them so they can’t take the risk. This part is very sad.
I think boys who are 9-12 years old will enjoy this book.

THE MYSTERY OF BLACKBEARD by Carole Marsh

The book was about a city called Bath and 4 children, and a play when a fake head disappears, so the 4 children try to find the head.
My favorite part was when 2 of the kids get locked a room.
I would recommend this book to both boys and girls ages 9 & 10
