One day , Andrew and Evan were babysitting 8 year old Kermit who loved experimenting. Accidentally, they are an experiment Kermit was doing. That experiment made Evan grow stories high and they have to find a way to stop it.
They have to find about how to shrink him back to normal size with his friends Kermit and Andrew.
At the beginning of the book Kermit always pranked them. As the book went on, Evan accidentally ate a chemical called Monster Blood . When he grew two stories tall, Kermit instead of pranking him he helps him by mixing chemicals up to shrink him back to normal. Everyone became friendlier after that.
I could relate to this because when somethings wrong with me I have to figure something out to change the problem.

THE CREATURE OF THE BLACK WATER LAKE By Gary Paulsen
Ryan doesn't know what is about to happen at this lake. Down, down, down in the lake lives a hideous monster. Ryan meets a girl named Rita. Rita's brother claims that the monster ate his dog, while Rita thinks that her brother is just a annoying little brother. Ryan actually really want to know if the monster is real. Now they're getting more curious.
My favorite part was when a adult helps to search for the monster and capture it, down in the murky water. It was really intense.
I think that both boys and girls would like this book at the ages through 7-9.

SEVEN SCARY MONSTERS by Mary Beth Lundgren
There was a boy and monsters in the boy's bedroom. He was trying to get rid of them because they were noisy and he couldn't sleep.
I liked it when the boy said "Rick Rack wrinkle shack, don't you dare come back". The book rhymed and that made it more dun to listen to.
I would recommend this book to both girls and boys who are 4 years old.

FRANKENSTEIN by Mary Shelly
This book was about Dr.Frankenstein creates a living monster. He created the monster in a small, Swiss town. After the monster swears revenge, Dr. Frankenstein becomes worried. What will happen to the Dr.?
The saddest part was when the monster became sad when he realized that no one would love him.
I would not recommend this book because I think it's too sad.
