Thirteen-year-old Atticus
Higginbottom, a.k.a. Tick, has a normal life until he starts receiving letters
that have no return address and are signed simply “M.G.” These letters lead
Tick on a race to figure out the mysterious clues in the letters. On the way,
he meets several other people, all of which are getting the same strange
messages as Tick. The clues lead Tick and his new friends to a huge secret:
they live in just one of many different universes, or Realities. They join the
ranks of the Realitants, a group dedicated to protecting the Realities. But
Tick discovers that he has a strange power that makes him very special…
My favorite part of this
book is when Tick and his friends solve the mystery of the letters and find out
who was sending the letters.
I think both boys and girls of any age will enjoy this book.
