Fly Away Home by Patricia Hermes
Amy Aldens tragedy of losing her mom makes her hide in her shell. Now living with her divorced dad in her new Canadian home. She finds baby geese when she was wandering one day. She raises them in her home. But now its migration time, and she must teach them how to “Fly Away Home”.
I liked it when her dad and her dad's girlfriend come home and she is sleeping with the baby geese.
I think both boys and girls ages 6-20 will enjoy this book.
