The Janitor's Boy by Andrew Clements

This book is about a boy named Jack whose dad is the janitor at his school. This embarrasses Jack so much. Then he got caught snooping around the school, and while he was snooping he found two secret places. While his dad was driving him home, they stopped at his grandfather's car shop. That day, he learned all sorts of cool things about his dad. Read the book to find out what happens. My favorite part of the book was when Jack found the steam tunnel and figured out that a guy named Eddie lived there. I think both boys and girls ages 9-11 will enjoy reading this book.
