Frindle by Andrew Clements
This book is about a boy who makes up another name for a pen. Then this name gets out of control! His teacher is a big meany. But that just encourages him more.
My favorite part is when all the kids in the school mess up their school picture.
I think both boys and girls ages 7-12 will enjoy this book.
