We have been busy in the Library! Coming up, we will be incorporating the topic of Digital Literacy in the Library over the next few weeks. We are taking on this important topic in a fun way; here are a few highlights of our lessons:
- Grade 3 - BrainPop & NetSmartz websites, delivering the basic messages of staying safe online:
- I will tell a trusted adult if anything makes me feel sad, scared, or confused.
- I will not share personal information online (name, address, phone #, etc)
- I will never meet anyone in person that I first met online
- I will always use good "netiquette" and will always be kind online

- How to Evaluate Sources for Reliability video
- Two Truths & a Lie - learn how to determine which websites are real and which one is a fake.
