This book is about a girl who is out of the ordinary. She comes and turns the high school upside down.
My favorite part was when Stargirl does all this crazy stuff.
I think girls ages 10-15 will enjoy this book.

HEARTBEAT by Sharon Creech
This book is about a girl who LOVES running. Her mom is about to have a baby. She also lives with her grandfather who is very forgetful.
My favorite part was when the Grandfather ate Annie's apple that was for an art project.
I think girls who are ages 13+ will enjoy this book.

DOUBLE DIGIT CLUB by Marion Dane Bauer
This book is about a girl named Sarah and her best friend Page. They're trying not to be lured into the Double Digit Club (DDC). But will Page let go of her BFF to join?
My favorite part is when...that would give away the end!
I think girls ages 9-16 would enjoy this book.

This book is actually a huge poem. It's about a GIRL who loves running and drawing and footnotes. HER mom is having a baby and SHE can't wait!
My favorite part is when she draws an apple a day and describes it.

This book is about a hippie named Capricorn Anderson. His grandmother breaks a hip and Cap gets a taste of middle shool.
My favorite part was reading about Cap doing silly things.
I think both boys and girls ages 10-20 would enjoy this book.

This book is about a boy with a thing for owls, and he tries to save these burrowing cuties before a pancake obsessed company plows them over!
My favorite part would give it away! But, let's just say, it's funny!
